Ravens partners with SteelSeries for 2010

Monday 15th February 2010

Roskilde Ravens and the world renowned gaming peripheral manufacturer SteelSeries have agreed on an extended partnership in 2010.

SteelSeries who also supported Ravens in 2009 has decided to take the partnership to the next level and become more involved as a partner in 2010. This means that SteelSeries will not only once again be providing all Ravens players with the very best gaming peripherals available on the market, but will also be financially supporting Ravens.

Ravens players will be using the best high quality award winning products such as the SteelSeries Siberia v2 Headset, the SteelSeries 7G Keyboard and the SteelSeries XAI Mouse.

Louise Thomsen of SteelSeries had the following to say about the new partnership:

“It is a great pleasure for us to support a team that has the will and determination that we recognize in ourselves. We have known the people behind Ravens for a long time and look forward to a continued partnership with the organization."

Jens Christian Ringdal, President of Roskilde Ravens, had the following comment:

“Since 2008 we have worked closer and closer with SteelSeries. It has been a beneficial good relationship and we are very proud that we today announce SteelSeries as main partner of Ravens alongside Dansk Metal. This shows that the successful goals and results of Ravens are now proving themselves and gives great comfort in the future as it enables us to attend more events and keep developing our teams and players”.

The first time Ravens will be in action utilizing their new gear will be when Ravens Counter-Strike 1.6 is attending HK LAN and the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship in just a few weeks.

In addition to partnering with Steelseries, Ravens are also announcing the official return of our infamous Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare team. The team has been training for months proving themselves to once again be fit for the Ravens jerseys.

Mathias “AdagiO” Braun, team captain of Ravens Call of Duty 4 had the following comment:

"After a long period with intense training and searching for a 5th player I am very happy that we are finally back. I am looking forward to a new era with continued hard practice and some great results in 2010. We will do our best to once again become the best team in Denmark. I would like to thank the Ravens management and our sponsors Dansk Metal, Steelseries and JC Biler for their support."

The return of Ravens Call of Duty 4 also brings back a very familiar face to Ravens as Mik "Champ" Bødtker will be replacing DeZ.

Mik "Champ" Bødtker had the following statement:

"Being back in Ravens is like coming home. We all know each other very well in the team both from online and outside the game. We match each other both socially and ingame which is why I am looking very much forward to a good time in Roskilde Ravens with some great guys.

The Roskilde Ravens Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare team is:

 Mathias "AdagiO" Braun
Stefan "Guana" Geisler
Thomas "Jacks0n" Vestergaard
Brian "AK-Freak" Espersen
